Even Robbie Bartlett stopped posting after Joshua turned down the 50 million. He said boxing was all about the purses so he couldn't do a flip flop and say "it's not all about the money for him" LOL!

For me it comes down to the whole situation. People want to argue the Hearn/AJ side did their best and it's not their fault the fight isn't happening, but how much time was wasted on offering Wilder poor terms for a UK fight they knew he wouldn't take, then requesting a 50M offer for the US, then considering, rejecting the US offer and going back to wanting it in UK on their own terms?

A positive about Hearn is that he apparently sits down with anyone he is looking to sign/resign and tells them how he sees their next 3-4 fights going, the kind of career progression, popularity increase, opponents they will be fighting. AJ is by far his most important fighter so a lot of thought, planning goes into the path he takes. So it is surprising to hear that despite all that they went from saying 'Wilder in the UK next' then 'actually in US if they give 50M' then 'they got 50M? Change of mind, has to be UK' to 'ah damn out of time now Povetkin it is'.

Turning down $50 million in favour of home advantage just proves it's not all about the money for AJ. Don't know how anyone can take that as a negative. In contrast, it's all about the money for the other side, forsaking the chance to win a title unification. Money will come sooner after the victory.

It's not all about the money for AJ. It's just that he's such a virtuous person. GTFOH This fight isn't happening next because they know Wilder is a threat and want to size him up a little more before committing to it.

All Wilder had to do was sign the damn contract and sort out the date and place in 5 minutes. That didn't happen. Finkel had to consult with the the other 3 managers and took them twelve days to respond. That's not the way to negotiate. It's the way to kill the fight.

If the fight don't take place who is the winner ? One fighter after another 4 or 5 defences gets finallly beaten after accumilating another 100 million dollars while the other fighter gets ko'ed after 2 or 3 more fights making another 7.5 million dolllars.
              Who is the winner lol

This is what Mayweather did imo is wait for someone else to beat Pacquiao and make him irrelevant. Isn't that weak though? Floyd beat Pac after Marquez brutally KO'd him and made him a bit gun shy, but he was too established by then to be made irrelevant by it. So Floyd still had to fight him but for less accolades.

I personally don’t think this fight would make $50m in America. They can offer that amount but I don’t think they would make their monies back.

Probably the funniest I heard was when Hearn said he was worried for Wilder! that they were making unrealistic promises to the guy.

Of course he changed his mind when he realized he might actually have to fight Wilder. He’s a first class pussay. Nothing wrong with that.
