Stirverne is a pure bum. I don't know who he beat to rate him #2 but one thing is certain I put my money on Martin to KO inside 6.
    That's free money.

You guys are getting desperate lol. How on earth is it the best belt, all that matters in boxing is who you beat, not which alphabet strap is supposedly the best. Look at the scrubs he's defended it against.

Belts have become so diluted these days anyway.

I think most people have a rough idea of who the top guys in the division are, belt or no belt. So as long as those fighters are fighting each other, i don't think it matters anymore who's holding belts. They're just a nice bonus.

Look at Stevenson's run as WBC Champ, it's hardly been worthy of a prestigious title. GGG was just handed his because Canelo had b1tched out at that point.

Prestigious belt? In some people’s eyes. It has been held by the greatest champions along with the WBA

But definitely not a prestigious champion. No matter which one, the champion always makes the belt, not the other way around.

All the most respected rankings of that time had Stiverne either #2 or #3 (boxrec, ring magazine, TBRB, ESPN, etc).

Am interested in the fighter holding the belt not how some group of people say to make the belt.
                    Pls go on....
well, clearly you're new to the sport, since you picked a belt that nobody has tried to win, nobody has tried to defend, and you likely don't know a single HW IBO champ other than AJ. It's a throw in title, it's not a recognized world title. I'm happy you think it's the most prestigious title, but you're wrong. It's not a matter of opinion.

Ever heard of Kevin Lerena? No? He's the IBO Crusierweight Champion.

Heard of Igor Mikhalkin? I'm sure you have. He just got his ass kicked by Krusher. Surprisingly, the match was only for Kovalevs WBO strap. Kov didn't care about your prestigious IBO belt

Tsiko Mulovhedzi is the IBO Welterweight Champion of the world. He's the 55th ranked WW in the world, and has a record of 12-8

See a trend? Sure there are a few "names" who hold the IBO (AJ, GGG, Hurd) but for the most part, it's C level fighters. And the "names" who have won it, just won a vacant throw in belt when they were fighting for a different title (AJ won it when he was competing for the WBA it was a vacant throw in title, GGG won it vacant, Hurd won it while competing for the WBA and IBO)

By your logic the WBC Silver belt is higher ranked than the WBC World title because you think Whyte > Wilder.

EDIT - Karo Murat is the IBO Light Heavyweight Champion. He won the vacant title a few months ago, and nobody even noticed.
