Nah. Getting a belt from a mediocre Stiverne doesn't equate prestige.
Just shows how low the quality of this belt is.

Wilder got a shot at the title based on beating Jason Gavern. That is hardly prestigious. The IBF title imo is the most prestigious because they actually follow their rules and force their champions to fight mandatories.

No he didn't. He became Stiverne's mandatory challenger when he beat Malik Scott in a title eliminator. Gavern was a stay busy fight.

Even worse. Malik Scott is garbage. Wasn't he coming off a KO loss to Chisora when Wilder fought him?
