this is a low blow ^
What's funny is, Ward said that the shots were "border". How does he even take pride in that? It's like saying, "I almost hit him in the cock & balls, but not quite, so my win is legit and fair". Any man knows that region is fragile as hell. Three or four shots in the same area? Come on now. I'm surprised Kovalev didn't collapse.

Dude, let it go already. He was beating the hell out of Kovalev in the rematch with or without "low blows."

People whine about older fighters picking easier opponents, well at least they are still fighting and didnt retire when the division heated up.

a fighter who wants to retire doesnt get on the phone personally to frank buglioni to try and make a fight.

hes 'retired' so he can pick and choose a nice easy payday when it pops up. ..
so in your eyes facing kov twice is easy payday? okaaaaay

So just clear this up for me. Were you hinting at his dirty tactics? Or saying he still needs to prove himself within the sport? .. or both?

it doesn't work that way. it's either a level field or it isn't. Nobody know what Ward does or doesn't do if he is warned early on about low punches, the fight changes.

I meant from this point on. Kovs literally the only tough fighter he's fought in 6 years and there's been plenty around. He could (and still could) have done so much more

... I said this many times: he holds all sorts of qualities, skills, talents etc... but what he did simply wasn't "boxing"...

He was losing most of the rounds up until that "low blow" and was battered throughout the 8th including the right hand that hurt him badly. He was ready to go and looking for a way out of the fight. The excuses for Kovalev won't stop for a while, but no one will remember him 5 years from now.

There were numerous low blows. As I said "Nobody know what Ward does or doesn't do if he is warned early on about low punches, the fight changes."
