Example: Calzaghe pulled a "Gatti-Mayweather" on Lacy.
i dont know if that improved his legacy... we had seen gatti beaten badly before, on more than one occassion... floyd's stock didnt rise in my eyes off that mugging of gatti.. he did exactly what he was supposed to do and what I expected him to do...

You've been here for two weeks Hendrix, and it's apparent that you're just a hater. EVERY SINGLE thread about Floyd you have just been hating on him. Thus, I'm just not going to take your opinion seriously, especially with CASTILLO of all people plastered all over your signature and avatar.

      Get real.

For that lame fight to actually improve his legacy then boxing has really gone down hill. I'd be impressed if that one-sided beat down was agaisnt an elite fighter.....
So the fact that Gatti was aholding a world title, and had a string of wins, and had basically rebuilt his career meant nothing? Its still a more legit win than anyone margarito has beaten.

I agree, but to the casual boxing fan, it was something amazing to see. Legacies aren't just confined to boxing "experts." A lot of it has to do with general public perception as well.

IMO, it did not.... after zab lost to baldy, his stock crashed and for floyd to fight him immediately after that lost, to me, proved little...

Again I agree with that. However, the Zab Judah that fought Floyd Mayweather was not the same Zab that fought Baldomir. The Zab that fought Floyd would've beat almost every single welter in the world that night...apart from Floyd.

Floyd has not fought an elite fighter in 3 freaken years, and please don't give me some damn Judah was a real test bull**** after the punk lost and was hurt bad against Carlos. The only true elite fighters Floyd has faced was diego Corrales where he fought a drained fighter with to much **** going on at the time, the second elite fighter he fought was Castillo were he got the hometown decsion and ran like a little ***** in the rematch and even those two werent top p4p fighters when he faced them.

I'd love to see Zab come back and fight guys like Margarito, Cintron, the winner of Julio-Quintana, etc. With Zab's shaky chin and lack of focus I don't see him getting by Margarito though. Zab-Cotto would be a worthy fight to watch as well.

Why didn't you feel the need to make this thread about Hatton not calling for Floyd simply listing "Flyod isnt' looking to fight Margarito this year".

You're so biased it's not even funny.

You couldn't be anymore see through or predictable if you tired.
First of all, the mere fact that you ignore the subject of the thread and focus on trying to cut up Hatton is transparent enough in itself, and couple that with you having no real response to the subject at hand and I think we can all see that you're frustrated between wanting to state the obvious (that Floyd is ducking Margarito if he doesn't sign to fight him) and wanting to defend Mayweather, but have no spin to do so with.

Anyway, to address you're nonsense, nobody calls Hatton "p4p #1" and "the best" and all this and the other. Hatton has a title, is trying to build his name in a new country, for a new network, in a new division. It's a bit different situation, huh? LOL

And the PBF spinners are really getting desperate. "If PBF loses to Margarito, then where does that leave him?" ****, if he lost to Judah, then where would that have left him? Fighting a guy coming off of a major loss to an unknown? LOL
