He fought Brusseles on the way to fighting Gatti, he fought Corley at his first fight at 140 i think.But that is a legit argument, HOWEVER, Floyd didint have the big wins over Gatti/Judah yet, so its different. But i wont go out of my way to disagree.

Basically, only a clown would make an excuse for Floyd if he doesn't fight Margarito, Cotto, Vargas, Mosley, or Hatton in his next fight. These are the names that came out of Floyd's very own mouth.

There were no top 10 or even top 20 p4p stars in Roy Jones' time at 175. For Floyd, there is Hatton and Margarito, both rated top 20 p4p by several sources. Floyd has had his time to adjust, now it's time to walk the walk he keeps talking.

I've said all along I believe Floyd will take these harder fights eventually. But the time is now. Floyd himself is not a household name, so him waiting for anyone to become a household name is not reasonable.
