There is no excuse I can think of for Floyd not fighting him.

    Here are the facts...

    1) Floyd can make more guaranteed money fighting Maragarito than anyone else right now.

    2) Floyd does not have a title to fight mandatories for.

    3) DLH is not fighting Floyd this year.

    4) Hatton is not fighting Floyd this year.

    5) Floyd calls himself the best, says he's ready to fight anybody.

    6) All boxing fans, media, and insiders want to see this fight happen and Margarito is regarded as his toughest challenge outside of Hatton and DLH.

Soooo....I'm just wondering what kind of spin the PBF crew has for this, if you're saying it's not a pure dodge. Because I'm beginning to get curious visions of Bowe putting a belt in the garbage, myself.

Funny how you didn't choose to make a thread about this.

Why isn't Hatton fighting him this year?

Why didn't you feel the need to make this thread about Hatton not calling for Floyd simply listing "Flyod isnt' looking to fight Margarito this year".

You're so biased it's not even funny.

You couldn't be anymore see through or predictable if you tired.

        Very good post.

I should make a thread entitled "Please explain how Hatton is not dodging, please"

Infact, because of his no-name most people will probably think this is just another push-over bout with mayweather. Household names count, it generates more money and more intrest. This fight is for fight fans for the most part.
Did the casual fan know who Sosa, N'dou, Corley, Bruseles, and Mitchell were when he fought them?,I don't think so...Floyd made big bucks agaisnt a big name like Gatti, but did that improve his legacy?, hell no, same with Judah.

The way Floyd abused, toyed with, and ******ed Gatti, yes that did improve his legacy. Especially since one-sided beatings are now referred to as a "Gatti-Mayweathers." Also after that fight, that's when Floyd was the scariest, and the most intimidating. Hatton ran for the hills, along with Cotto.

Example: Calzaghe pulled a "Gatti-Mayweather" on Lacy.

Corley was his 1st fight at 140, Brusseles is understandable, but he was struggling to get the fight with Gatti at that time, and Hatton also didint want to fight him. Mitchell was also his 1st fight at 147, but for arguments sake ill give you that one as well.

The Casual fan knows who Gatti is. And frankly, nearly every black person who is semi into boxing knows about Judah, Judah is very popular amongst black folks (even more so around the people i associate with since he is friends with a friend of mine), so those wins do mean something. Even if the Gatti win was easy, its still a name, and he definately beat the **** out of him.

And yes, his win over judah did improve his legacy because he was in there with a guy who has nearly the same skill set of talents that he did. He struggled early and then figured him out. The Baldomir fight really ruined Judah, it was a foolish loss on his part, but Judah came in with his best effort against mayweather, and we all know when judah is at his best, hes outstanding overall.

lolololololololololololololololololololol, oh yeah right. Who didn't see Floyd outboxing Gatti?, Gatti was never an elite fighter, **** Oscar De La Hoya (an elite) beat the crap out of Gatti also. For that lame fight to actually improve his legacy then boxing has really gone down hill. I'd be impressed if that one-sided beat down was agaisnt an elite fighter.....
