Why is that a problem? The WBC tries to help make fights people want to see.

Wilder should have fought 3 mandatories by now but they have let him slide for 3 years, only fighting one.
You lose all of your credibility right there.

Wilder himself was the mandatory. He's only been the champion for 3 years, so 3 mandatories by now would be impossible.

He should have fought 2 mandatories by now, but his mandatory, Povetkin, was caught cheating multiple times. Which is what caused the big delay between mandatories.

Link mfers names who are saying this at least, but lets not act like some invisible number of critical mass fans are saying something they clearly aren't.

You can't pick and choose avoiding mandos when it suits you, by saying who have they beaten?

The guys you are trying to put down are strong and fresh and lots of fans wanna find out what GGG can do to them.
I'm critical of all sanctioning bodies and unproven mandatory challengers, not just in this instance.

Yes it would be interesting to see what ggg could do with all theses fighters...but you know what else would be interesting? If some of these guys fought each other and solidified themselves as clear cut top contenders. We got a division with some good fighters and the champion is busy chasing a payday while the other guys are sitting around waiting for a shot while facing soft opposition. Ggg vs whoever isn't the only good fight that can be made.

There is understandably some confusion over who is next in the rotation, but you are 100% correct, that is for the WBC and IBF to work out.

GGG is playing a risky game here.

GGG has a net worth of 10 million dollars. He isn't begging. He is demanding a bigger share of the money split.Calling him tripple beg isn't cute or clever. It's ****** and disrespectful.

              Why is it understandable?
This is their job. I'm a half wit boxing fan and could sort it out in 5 minutes.
Cinnamon was given mandatory status (after dumping wbc belt in the bin and publicly discrediting them) and had his shot last Sept. Now it's the IBF's turn.
The timing of this announcement is deplorable.

Wrong. The draw is what made him the mandatory. A mandatory WBC fight at middleweight hasn't taken place since 2012.

Wade was IBF mandatory. Then GGG had voluntary. Jacobs was WBA mandatory. Then GGG had voluntary. Canelo rematch was going to be WBC mandatory. Fight didn't happen.

IBF says now their mandatory is next. WBC says woah woah woah, it's still our turn.

Can we all agree it's a clusterfk and the commissions are looking for fees. Seriously, this at this point is a hot mess and it's all over money no matter how you look at it. All the contenders for the belts have had almost a year to get in fights against each other to stand out, with a potential fight in September and a guaranteed rematch in April if it happens, that's another year and it hasn't happened..over money. Canelo vs Golovkin right now is in the air over money. Saunders has held out over money. The WBC, IBF, and soon the WBA will all be beefing over...Money. The WBC is about to piss off the IBF, and the WBA is going to want its cut soon enough. It always comes down to money. No matter who you support in this fight, the only reason **** isn't happening the way you want it to is...MONEY.

How does a voluntary get a title shot, get a draw and then next fight becomes mandatory. Right.
Cinnamon failed TWO drug tests (much worse than failing to make weight) and due to his own mistakes he misses his title shot.

Surely you don't get caught and suspended for drugs then straight back into mandatory challenger once the suspension is up. What sort of message is the wbc sending?
Did Povetkin get straight back in wbc mandatory spot after he failed?

                    Clean boxing doe.

Because the WBC ordered a mandatory rematch since the first fight ended in a controversial draw. Since it's the WBC's turn in the mandatory rotation, the Canelo rematch was going to count as the WBC mandatory. If the fight isn't going to happen, the WBC says it should still be their turn and interim champion Charlo should be next in the rotation. The WBC doesn't want to get skipped.
