Golovkins resume is weak. Weaker than Canelo's.

Golovkin needs it more, both financially and legacy.
As much as I hate to admit it, Robbie is right on this one.

Both - Canelo needs it to repair his legacy, GGG needs it for the money and legacy building. SIMPLE: setting money aside, would you rather be the fighter with the lessor resume and a clean reputation or the one that had a HUGE hit to their reputation and is seen by many as a cheater? Easy answer. History has a long memory for being notorious as opposed to a resume. But both need it for different reasons.

The problem is that G-turds are overestimating their influence on the sport. GGG's fanbase is largely irrelevant and not productive. You weren't fans of Canelo then, so you aren't affecting his bottom line in any way.

He still has a stronger fanbase than Golovkin and real boxing fans will still enjoy watching him fight whether it's against Saunders, Jacobs, Hurd, Andrade or Charlo.

And unlike GGG's fanbase, Canelo fans actually leave their basements and go out and spend real dollars. You people don't and will never have the influence you think you have. That's why there's such a discrepancy between GGG's actual numbers and all the noise you hear online.

I voted that GGG needs it more.

Canelo cannot win any way it chopped up, he wins a remtach it cause he was cheating, he loses the reamtch it cause he got caught cheating and wasnt able to to cheat his full cycle = blah blah he was cheating first time too or else he would have been KO'd, so theirs no real W in that fight for him in terms of anything outside of maybe personal satisfaction of beating GGG.

GGG needs its more cause thats 15 fights in 1 for him in terms of paychecks, can GGG fight 15 more times? Canelo will be the most notrizable name on GGG resume, and theirs no real lost for him, if GGG loses people will say it cause canelo was cheating lol, if GGG wins good he beat the cheat? theirs no Lose situation for GGG. And from what I read is that GGG recently purchased 2 milliondollar homes in Ukraine and in LA so million dollar homes come with milliondollar size monthly bills so that Canelo influx Paycheck cant hurt.

I think Canelo needs it more if he can win it but I think he would lose a rematch just as I thought he lost the first fight. If Canelo doesn't fight and defeat GGG it will haunt him the rest of his career. He will still have a great career and make tons of money but it will hurt him to some degree. Most viewers thought he lost the first fight and now some fans will think he lost the first fight while using PEDs. GGG's career and legacy would also benefit from a win over Canelo but a loss to Canelo would hurt his career and legacy. Losing the rematch might be worse than never fighting the rematch for both boxers.

Canelo. He just doesn’t have a good look right now. Even if he is somehow innocent, the perception of him isn’t good. So you can say he should have lost the first fight, and he was on peds.

All the drama of the first Canelo fight and what's going on now has made GGG better known and a bigger star than he was before. He doesn't need to fight 15 times to make what he would have made in a rematch with Canelo. You are exaggerating. GGG vs Saunders and GGG vs Murata are fights GGG will be very well paid for.

Canelo needs it for legacy. Golovkin needs it less. For the money only.
