like others said, neither need it financially both are multi-millionaires and neither will go hungry, Canelo will end up the richer of the two for sure (unless some poor financial decisions are made). However, Canelo needs it more from future earnings potential as well as clearing his name. For him, there has been a fight that garnered more controversy. On the other hand, GGG also needs it because well let's face it, a lot of money and it could clear up the outcome of the first fight and help his legacy.

Canelo's rep is in the toilet. People rag on Golovkin's opponents, but Canelo has made a career of fighting smaller guys @ CWs, old guys & bums. Case in point, Khan. Then after he KO'd him, he called out Golovkin, only to relinquish his WBC title because he didn't want him until 16 months later. Next, he finally agreed to fight an actual MW (Golovkin) @ the MW limit. He came away with a draw in the first fight and a failed drug test for the rematch. For me at this point, Alvarez needs to prove that he can actually face Golovkin and beat him or compete with him clean. Golovkin has been called a hype job by his detractors for a long time. If they open their eyes, they'll see that Saul Canelo Alvarez shouldn't be spared that description.

Boxing needs this rematch more. Canelo should give GG more than he got last fight. Dlh knows this and that's why he's pathetically insulting GG. GG deserves more because it was a waste of time that he had to go through. Canelo cheating doesn't mean GG deserves more. Canelo is still the draw. As a man Canelo and Dlh should pay him a bit more for being honest and clean.

In my eyes Loeffler and Glovkin are desperate for it.
Cnelo will lose badly, especially after a long layoff,
not to mention without peds in his system.
Cnelo's camp better find a way to stop the fight from happening.
I'd rather see Glovkin vs Charlo.

Golovkin has spent almost 5 years stalking, begging and sniffing ass for Canelo money. of course he needs it the most. the way lil g has been obsessing over Canelo you would think Nelo is fckn Sugar Ray Leonard or some sht. he's been using "all the belts" excuse to avoid call outs but yet his #1 priority for five years is to fight a guy with no belts. he's a fraud.

GGG needs it way more for the money. Canelo will make dough no matter who he fights. GGG will only get worse terms when he comes crawling back after his next fight

Tough to say. Most people (rightfully) thought GGG won the first fight fairly clearly. So he really doesn't need it all that bad. Canelo can say that he fought GGG and the boogeyman couldn't dent him and he fought him to a draw. Canelo has plenty of fans who will be more than happy to watch him destroy Spike and GGG can move on to fight another big name. I suppose you could say GGG needs it more because of the money, but thats the case with anyone not named Floyd who fights Canelo.
