In your eyes who needs the rematch more Nelo or GGG???

Canelo easily. His reputation is completely tarnished without fighting GGG in a rematch. At least if he beats GGG without any drugs in his system & if it’s not a robbery victory than he can redeem himself even if it’s just a little bit.
GGG only needs the fight in the sense that he’s getting older & he won’t get as big of a payday against anyone else. He has probably less than 10 fights left in his career & he’s 36 now. He needs a few nice paydays before he calls it quits & he wouldn’t get a bigger one than he would against Canelo.Comment

Canelo definitely.
Most observers felt he got a gift in their first fight and him subsequently testing positive 2 times for a very potent PED means he has some damage control to do or history will judge him harshly.Comment

Canelo! However because his Fanbase is so Prideful and Loyal they likely don't care they gonna rally behind and support Canelo no matter what. The pressure won't be put on him at all and it won't be put on from the Suck Up Kiss ASS Mainstream Boxing Media who want to assure that their Credentials remain intact with GBP for Canelo fights
Oscar himself never believed in rematches other than Shane Mosley so I'm sure Oscar is probably HAPPY he doesn't have to put Canelo in with GGG again.Comment

they both need it, no other fight would bring any of them the amount of money that a fight between the two of them would make.
if they don't fight in september, canelo's fight most likely won't be on ppv-if it is spike-and dlh would come out with a speech about making a free tv fight for the fans or something like that, they know ppv with spike will flop and they would have to give more to ggg for the rematch then
on ggg's camp, if they are sure that he can ko canelo without the peds, I think they could take a lower offer than the 50-50 and then go for the trilogy for a ton of money, ggg is not getting any youngerComment

I'd say Canelo. The majority of boxing fans, boxers and boxing media had GGG winning and showed disdain for the judging in the fight. Canelo needs to put that right.
People are now also casting su****ion on him after his failed drug test. He needs to show he can beat GGG and do so while being a clean fighter.
Money wise, Canelo will make more than GGG as he goes forward in his career, and this is GGG's big money fight as his career comes to it's end. But they both make more money fighting eachother than going elsewhere.Comment

GGG if you're thinking rationally.
GGG is 36, Canelo is 27. Canelo has time to fill his resume with about 5 more good, career enhancing names, as well as about a total of 10 pro fights in his prime left in him in the next 5 years.
GGG has a thin resume and foregoing rematches vs Canelo, Jacobs, and avoiding Charlo further shows his/Loeffler's fear of losing that 0 and further thins out his resume if he's gonna keep fighting welterweights, Jr middleweights coming up in weight, and weak middleweights.
GGG was eager to fight Cotto when Cotto was weighing no more than 153lbs at the scale. He was eager to fight a 37 year old Martinez. He was eager to fight Canelo when Canelo hadn't had 1 fight at 160 yet. He took on the Brook fight, a welterweight, with no hesitation at 160. He took on the underdog Jacobs only because Jacobs was known to have a weak chin and people were still iffy about him.
Now fast forward 2018. Jacobs is a lot tougher than fans gave him credit for and many had him beating GGG. Canelo is now used to the full 160 weight class, and many had him beating GGG, and the Draw is seen as fair by most and that was Canelo's first full 160 fight. They're coming up with excuses to not fight Charlo because Charlo apparently hasn't fought anyone good at 160, but none of that was said about literally any other of their opponent.
GGG has been proven to be nothing but a bully that is now cowering into a corner because 160 is no longer full of C class fighters he was feasting on like Lemiuex, Stevens, and the like, and he ran out of old or small fighters to call out like Cotto, Martinez, or Sturm.
GGG handlers aren't ******, time is running out, and out of Canelo, Jacobs, Charlo, Saunders, the 4 most valuable names at 160 other than GGG, they know Saunders is easy pickings but if they don't fight Canelo, then Canelo will fight Saunders and Saunders team will prefer Canelo since it's more money. GGG will be left with Jacobs and Charlo as the last two "lucrative" fights against valuable, career enhancing names, but both of those guys are dangerous and bring less money than Canelo or Saunders. If they forego Canelo and Canelo fights Saunders, then GGG will have no choice but to duck Jacobs II/Charlo and instead cherrypick once again some weak MW or some top JMW coming up, and cower away with excuses and hope to fight the winner of Canelo-Saunders as he fights some easy guy like Spike O'Sullivan or Murata, someone they can bully around the ring, or some other 154 fighter coming to 160.Comment
