  • Most fighters go from amateurs to pros early in their careers so they dont have the chance to do what loma is doing but some could do it too, but he has adapted to the pro game extremely well no doubt and is fighting all tough fights, u have to respect that, he is not ducking and diving and cherrypicking his fights, the opposite, plus he has gone up in weight because he cant get unification fights lower down plus hes an attacking fighter so will get hit more

    • I've seen the fight 5 times and get something be from it every time. It may be in my top 15 favorite fights of all time

      • Jesus Christ lets calm down a bit. He got put on his arse and if he gets hit with that same shot by Garcia he won't be getting up. He's the p4p number 1 but this is a very weak era, let's not forget that when comparing him to some past legends of the sport.

Tyson was sparring Carl "The Truth" Williams when he was 18. He beat James "Quick" Tillis on May 3rd, and beat Mitch Green on May 20th in the same year. In fact he fought 13 times in 1986, finishing with a win over Trevor Berbick, winning the HW Championship @ age 20! Yeah, but I guess everybody does that!

          • [B][No you’re salty AF alright. The man won fair and square against somebody bigger and more “skilled” supposedly and you don’t like it by refuting his achievements. Go stand in the corner and haze yourself kid.../B]

Well technically, he didn’t win THEE heavyweight championship until he beat Spinks, who we all know was a light heavyweight fortunate enough to catch an old Larry Holmes. Most heavyweights are rated based on how they did against the best of their time. And in Mike’s time, Lewis, Holyfield, and Bowe were the best guys. He never fought Bowe. And not only did he lose to Lewis and Holyfield. He wasn’t competitive against either guy. It’s kinda hard for me to call a guy great when in three fights against guys that were great, I stuggle to find rounds he won.

              • Lomachenko vs. Mikey Garcia is the #1 fight I want to see in all of boxing, especially after Saturday.

                • Lomachenko has won a third title in a third weight class in 12 fights, the quickest anyone has done so.

Quick recap of the BS thread so far-
Lomachenko isn't notable or out of the ordinary in any way, if he is, others could have done that, they just chose not to.

                  Mike Tyson was no good.

Floyd lovers and haters are still at each other and on this thread for some reason.

                  The weird world of BS.

                  • Lomachenko

He is a tough - tough courageous fighter - a credit to boxing. But, he got hit with every punch in the book. It's sad that his trainer, like every other trainer, knows nothing about head motion.

Ya'll must have forgot! Roy also got the scalps of The Bodysnatcher Mike McCallum (in the HOF) and Lights Out Toney (will be first ballot HOF) on his record, so he actually beat 5 HOF'ers!

EXACTLY. Lomo fanbois will be claiming Gary Russell Jr., and Nicholas Walters as HOF'ers
