So who was Sadam Alis original opponent?
Yea I feel a bit bad for him, I think if he had it his way the fight would have never been made but the tickets were sold and with all the money invested he couldnt say no and the show went on.

What are the odds Golden Boy are dumb and didn't get an option on Munguia? Pretty high?

You gotta be a moronic idiot to believe this.
You might as well believe Liam Smith's injury was faked.
        Kills me with these fools.

Ali is a solid B level fighter at best.

He beat a smaller, older, and injured Cotto. I'm sure Cotto would have cruised to a decision win if his bicep wasn't injured.

He wasn't set up, he was just never that good to begin with. He got stopped by Vargas, who's also a solid B fighter himself.

That kid is huge and most of his wins come by way of stoppage

Ali however does not belong at that weight class, he is a 147 boxer

I think they're saying by taking a dangerous opponent on 2 weeks notice rather than a soft touch. The Mexican fighter is more marketable than Ali

That's his promoters job. Maybe Golden Boy dropped the ball.
