    It’s probably True

Ali has no fan base isn’t the right ethnicity for Golden Boy and couldn’t hang with any of the top dogs at 154

Add in maybe a potential Canelo fight down the road if Munguia keeps winning for a all Mexican fight , I’m sure GB isn’t disappointed in the result if they had options on him

Easy to say after a one-sided beatdown but odds weren't saying that before the fight. Could just be Oscar approved the fight because he's a bad matchmaker, but it was Munguia who didn't have full notice. Even if they signed him to a deal, wouldn't be surprising because they wanted Mikey and Spence to sign to get Cotto and a lot of promoters want options before giving you a shot at one of their guys.

I don't know if he was "sold out" per se but Ali's promoters have a lot to answer for - I admit that I didn't foresee this being such a mismatch but I'm not in that kind of business, Ali's team are. That was the kind of fight where a guy can get majorly damaged and I feel like Ali might have been spared that by the referee (and not the useless ringside doctor.)
Me too, the size difference was shocking. I’m glad it got stopped. The beating was only gonna get worse round by round.

Ok I went to the bookies and was going to put £1000 on Munguia at 15/8, I chickened out because of an article on boxingnews about how awful Munguia is, Am kicking myself this morning.

Honestly you've only got yourself to blame if you put any stock at all in boxingnews, that site is truly terrible

Never heard of Mungia but im sure will cause some ripples in the already stacked m/w division.
M/W gotta be the best division atm.
