TMT isn't a promoter. Its just one of Mayweather's brands. And no he's not affiliated with Mayweather Promotions or any other promoter either.

He does work out of Mayweather's gym quite a bit from my understanding, but anyone can join that gym ultimately so that doesn't necessarily even say anything.

Yeah sorry i meant Mayweather promotions.

Is Sr not his head coach? I went to the Mayweather gym in september last year, and he was training with Sr then.

Gamboa is bout done. I thought he lost that last fight.

And Kirkland is MIA like a mofo lately. Idk if he is retied or what but he's not had a fight in 3 years & he's 34 now.

Those would not be my ideal pickups if I was Hearn lol. Maybe he could B side them vs someone in the future is about either guys best bet with getting on a Matchroom card.

Nah. I think Haney's dad has just paid for private lessons with a lot of name guys including Sr or if Sr was at one point his legit trainer then something has happened since then cuz it no longer appears to be the case.

I think they got something more real with Mike McCallum now, who was in the corner last night, although it wouldn't surprise me if McCallum is just being paid for private lessons too.

Haney's dad is an alleged street dude & has quite the bankroll its said so they aren't the typical guys on the comeup in boxing that need to tie their flag to someone. Supposedly he's a pimp or was a pimp among other things.

They can be the cannon fodder for his stars to add to their resume lol. Both are my favorite fighters. Sad that i can see them again.

Devin Haney is already iced out, with at least 3 luxury cars (whether they're owned or leased is unknown), a house (whether he owns or rents is unclear), and he's just making his TV debut (though did fight on CBS Sports network).

Hearn wouldn't hurt to try and talk, but there seems to be more hands involved than originally thought

Eddie needs to grab hold of as many top rated Mexican talents he can get his little grubby hands on mainly guys like Ryan Garcia those guys have high stock if he could get them on board he will be able to do something, lot of room to work with the Mexican fanbase also the Puerto Rican fanbase too.

The disclosed payout for the Broner-Vargas card was basically $3m, the Lara-Hurd card was basically $2.3m. Wilder-Ortiz had over $3m in disclosed purses, and Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, and Errol Spence Jr all had shows with payouts near $2.5m.

And that's before you consider any of the other costs related to actually staging those events.

Thurman-Garcia had disclosed payouts of $4.2m to the fighters on the bill, and that show was put on CBS. Between the renting of the venue, the dealings with the commission, the insurance, the marketing materials, promotional press, fight week, and whatever other money spent, it would not shock me if $6m ended up being spent on that event.

Haney trains out of Mayweather Boxing Club and is seemingly friendly with the camp, but he, his father, and whomever is financially backing him are doing their own thing, business wise.

They did some of it, but its not been some movement with much logical or forward trajectory that has seemed planned out very well to me.

I appreciate the feedback man!!! In my opinion they're doing a good job. The best way to get new fans is to have boxing available to the largest audience possible and for the longest period of time possible + actual product quality. The best way to do that is to get a long term t.v. distribution deal. It needs to be with the right network and it must also give out good fights and have shoulder programming in order to advance narratives and tell stories. I believe the three years from when it started until now was used to get data on the most effective ways to get the best product, Pay fighters more money, and distrupt the market for competition. However I respect your opinion and I would like you to know I appreciate the fact that your opinions always seem fair and understandable.
