Have you forgotten that Deontay previously turned down a career high purse offer to fight Dillian Whyte, $4 million plus the entire US income from the fight?
Wilder ******s claim he shouldn't fight Whyte because it's not about money, it's about legacy. They also advise him not to fight Joshua because it's not about legacy, it's about money... Question for you, what boxer got the most deluded, idiotic fanbase?

Not sure what Whyte is whining about. Ortiz is very dangerous and is still seen as an elite HW. Whyte should still get a large payday from Hearn, and it's his ticket to the elite level.

People are clowning Whyte for complaining about getting Ortiz instead of Wilder. Why is no one clowning Wilder for fighting the ultimate bum Breazeale next? Is that really a stay busy fight? He'd stay just as busy in the gym, hitting the heavy bag.

That's just it; Whyte doesn't want to risk a loss against Ortiz, while Breazeale gets the title shot vs Wilder.

Whyte is getting Ortiz at the right time. I always stay away from siding with older fighters coming off a loss in a huge bout. Almost impossible for them to get up for their next fight. But Whyte is so mediocre, I could see him struggling or losing outright.
So much truth in this. Whyte is so overrated that it's funny. Slow, basic, and wouldn't last three rounds with Wilder.

I don't see him lasting with Ortiz either. Although Ortiz is older the skill level difference is like night and day.

Whyte was NEVER the mandatory. I've pointed that out over and over for months. Being ranked #1 doesn't automatically make you the mandatory. You usually have to win a final eliminator. Whyte has never won a final eliminator.
