For what? Wilder has been wanting the fight for years. It is just now, that AJ's side as shown any interest at all. AJ himself said Miller or Whyte rematch is probably next.

If Wilder gets a fair offer and refuses, I will be the very first to criticize him. If Hearn comes with $12.5 million, no purse split, no negotiation then I will continue to blame the one who keeps talking about fighting everyone not named Wilder. Also, if a fair offer is made, I will be the first to compliment both Hearn and AJ.

If Wilder has wanted the fight for years, how come neither he nor his team has done a damned thing to even try and get it?

Wilder turned down a chance to come to Cardiff and speak to AJ face to face, using some juvenile nonsense about Hearn putting a restraining order on him as an excuse.

His team turned down an offer for 5/6 times his highest ever purse and said they would send Hearn a counter offer within 48 hours - then did nothing, no counter offer was sent.

Also, Wilder has said he will fight Whyte next, if its in the deal that AJ is next. As soon as he said that, Hearn started talking about AJ-Whyte II.

The WBC isn't making Whyte mandatory. They know that Hearn will not allow him to face Ortiz. It is calling chicken**** AJ and Hearn out. If Whyte is good enough for a title shot, then let him prove it.
