why would Derevyanchenko fight for 250 K on short notice in the biggest fight of his career, no way, you probably already forgot how Jacobs was pricing himself out, moving from december 2016 to march 2017 stalling career, GGG-Derevyanchenko is a big MSG event, he'll easily tripple that to 750 K if promoted correctly, its a 3rd Rosier fighter who's trying to beat GGG, quite a story

While Golovkin will defend his WBA and WBC titles in the fight, he faces the prospect of being stripped by the IBF, which deems Martirosyan unworthy of challenging for the title and has declined to sanction the fight. Loeffler plans to file for an exception.
The @GGGBoxing May 5 fight won't be sanctioned by @IBFUSBAboxing as story says, with request for exception to avoid being stripped expected.

And he was fighting a fellow P4Per before the guy tested positive for PEDs. Vanes is a a replacement they announced less than 3 weeks away from the fight.
Have we previously gotten great fights out of last minute replacements? Sure - Vitali vs Lewis springs to mind. Most of them are pretty bad though, and this one is either about the same or even slightly better than typical replacements.

as much of a shyt fight this is, golovkin handler did the same thing i would do. this fight keeps him busy and puts another check in his pocket. no need to risk anything for later on this year. i actually get the feeling he may end up fighting charlo next rather than canelo again. canelo-ggg 2 aint promised.

That person is Loeffler but IBF still hasn't ruled or Loeffler has already gotten a wink from IBF on how they will rule.
