I have been in boxing long enough not to jump on bandwagons, some american posters on here jumped the gun in regards to this fight months ago. I don't mind supporting your own american boxers but you also have to use your brains to anaylse things. Wilder talks a lot but facts doesn't back up his talking. Its plain and simple if this fight can generate $100m like a lot of these accountants claimed then its pretty much sorted out here. If this is indeed true from AJ then make him the 50% offer from that amount, All Wilder accountants need now is to come up with that sum, am sure Vegas would put that money up.

Wilder is delusional about his star power but that can't let AJ off the hook. This AJ dude doesn't want this fight at all, he gave a take it or leave it offer without % split. Did he do that with Parker? No, he gave Parker like 30% of the purse.

Wilder's come out with over the past couple of years, the cowardly insinuations of PED use backed up by nothing but innuendo, the constant badmouthing and downgrading of his, superior achievements and greater willingness to embrace risk etc and thought **** him.

I've worked hard to get to this position. I've overpaid guys again and again. Now I'm offering this guy a chance I never got. A chance to make history with one fight. A chance to become undisputed despite a career of cherry picking. A chance to be part of boxing history and hold 5 belts and go on to make massive earnings from them if successful.

No top fighter should accept a flat fee for such a fight. No one.

As sick a Floyd fan as I am, I hated it when he offers Pacquaio a flat $40m. It makes no sense.

If Wilder says give me the 30% you gave Parker, AJ and Hearn would lower it and claim all kinds of things from Parker's belt, his country, his UK fanbase.... Reasons why Wilder should get a lower slice or flat fee.

If Wilder wants 40%, he has to start negotiations at 50%, if he wants 30%, he starts at 40% but team AJ has zero interest in negotiating this fight. Wilder said "give me 50%" AJ said "take $12.5m flat fee - take it or leave it" who sounds more crazy?
