I was the one campaigning for GGG to get something for a cancellation. In this case, not so much.

I don't think he's entitled to anything since he's proceeding with another fight on the same date, basically the same event with a different opponent.

If the event didn't go ahead after the cancellation, I'd say he could sue for his contracted pay.

I guess he had a guaranteed purse.

Yes, he can sue for his contracted purse amount. It's been known to happen when fights are canceled due to wrongdoings on one side. The processes to try to go after "projected" ppv sells, merch sells, and tix sells are way too complicated.
