I was the one campaigning for GGG to get something for a cancellation. In this case, not so much.

I don't think he's entitled to anything since he's proceeding with another fight on the same date, basically the same event with a different opponent.

If the event didn't go ahead after the cancellation, I'd say he could sue for his contracted pay.

GGG will be making a heap less, maybe canelo will have to make up the rest, just read a headline that warren wants GGG to cancel may 5 and fight Saunders in June, that would be a better outcome

What would that have to do with anything, canelo has broken his contract, I think wilder received a couple of mill off Ortiz when he popped

If I remember correctly yes, it was a binding contract, cotto couldn't get out of it

Read my post above where I mention Saunders, where I said that would be the BEST OUTCOME, then read the post you just posted and tell me how you managed to get that so wrong

                    He tried so hard.
Miguel Cotto repeated his disinterest in paying $300,000 in sanctioning fees to the World Boxing Council on Wednesday and questioned whether he is obligated to pay Gennady Golovkin $800,000 in a step-aside fee.
