Another "movement" that sounds righteous on the surface, but is rooted in politicians pulling the strings. If these folks truly cared about children's lives, maybe they would spend time, money, and resources on things that are truly killing children in great numbers on a daily basis. People are so selective in their outrage...

Stop bullying, put armed security guards and metal detectors in all schools and take all kinds of threats and early indicators seriously. The kid in the FL school shooting could have been stopped several times before that happened.

People are so easily fooled. Most couldn't even tell you what defines an "assault rifle" but the name is scary so they want to ban it. And, coincidentally, legislation tends to cross over to cover many types of weapons. Meanwhile, the violence on the streets is primarily being done with pistols.

What do people do with "assault rifles"? Some defend their homes, others hunt food, some find recreation in shooting targets, not unlike archery. Crimes committed with them are not in such excess that the rights of citizens should be removed. Don't let misunderstanding and fear of things you don't understand make a fool of you.

Again, no one is taking all your guns. No matter what NRA orders you to think. And BTW, we don't need to know all the latest gun lingo to realize and insist some common sense gun laws are needed. We have around 4-5% world population, 32% of gun deaths. All because the NRA has way too much power, and they convinced the gun crowd their guns are bing taken away. All to sell more guns. As for hunting with AR-15s (the weapon used in most of these school massacres) it's ****** to hunt with, because it rips the meat up so bad you'd be a fool to use it for food afterwards.

But, again, no one is taking away your right to defend yourself, so you need to stop saying that b.s. now.
