The AJ protection squad ... wtf?

Ortiz was AJ's mando. Hearn signed him up and gave him an easy fight on one of AJ's shows to build interest in a fight between the 2 of them.

Ortiz then left Hearn and signed with Haymon. Haymon "advised" Wilder and Ortiz to fight each other, instead of having Ortiz wait for his mandatory shot at AJ. Ortiz then failed a PED test and lost his position as AJ's mando, before getting KTFO by Wilder.

So where does the AJ protection squad come into it? Are you saying Haymon works for Hearn?

      Consider this for a moment:

      1) Canelo had around 0.6-0.8ng in his system

      2) Contador had 0.05ng in his system, blaming it on meat he ate the day before

      3) half life of clen approx 30 hours

Firstly, it depends how much is in the meat and how much you eat of course, but lets say that Canelo is correct that it came from tainted meat. If he ate the meat the day before, he would have been coming down from about 1.4ng in his system (and lets assume Contador would have been about 0.1ng the day before when he competed).

But if he ate the meat the DAY BEFORE, or even that day, then why can't they immediately identify what meat he ate that might have had the clen in ? where consumed etc ?

So lets say it wasn't the day before, such that they can't quite identify where it might have come from, then you can keep multiplying the amount Canelo he had in his system by a factor of 2 (approx) until you get back to when he supposedly ate the tainted meat.

So if it was 2 days before, we are up to about 2.8ng in his system, 3 days before, approx 5.6ng, and so on.

If Canelo is allowed to get away with this, we can expect to see a lot more 'oops the meat' excuses, and 'very sorry, but like Canelo, I promise not to do it again', then argue discrimination if they get any less leniency than Canelo did.

If not cancelled, a large portion of Alvarez' purse of this fight should be docked and given to Golovkin.
Bro hes not gonna be having no more dirties especially when hes a target for being dirty once.
Plus he was on a cycle before his camp and was cycling of when he got popped.
He still got all the advantages of what he was aiming for by using the ped in the first place.
Wow some people just dont understand how the boxers are using peds and how to use it to advantage.

No, I know and understand how boxers cycle through PEDs. I get it, and am not ignorant enough to deny it is a huge problem, especially in a sport where the whole idea is to hurt someone. There is also tons and tons of pressure to move up and down in weight divisions to make fights, forcing boxers to really push themselves. The temptation to use a little something to ease that most be huge. I just am one of those people who prefer to look at everyone as honest and trustworthy until it is obvious they are not. I can't totally get pass the actual letter, posted on ESPN, from the testing agency that stated plainly the trace amounts were consistent with Alvarez' story.

Golovkin deserves this fight, but he also deserves to fight a clean opponent. Cancel the event, make Alvarez prove over the next few months he is clean, let Golovkin move on.

Ok yer i see you understand what the advantages Canelo will receive if the fight goes thru.
But saying That GGG has said that he is willing to go thru with the fight as long as the bout is sanctioned.
I think GGG knows this willl be the only chance left to leave no doubt about who is the better fighter if he gets the win.
I think the draw left a bad taste in his mouth and with this circus hes very angry atm but he doesnt want to leave it at a draw.
Imo i think he would loose if the fight goes thru maybe a 60/ 40 chance.
Everyone should be very angry with Canelo for ruining the best fight of 2018.

True, but I'd give clen a 5 where testosterone is a 100. It is not a good choice if you want to cheat.

I watched that fight a few times through the years. Wright was much funner to watch back then, he had more of an offensive arsenal than just the jab and straight left cross. Simon got a hell of a lot of credit for punches that landed on Wrights guard. I thought the first scorecards were bad, saying it was a draw. Then they changed it to a Simon decision a half hour later.
