AJ Wouldn't Have Lasted Against Ortiz

No way does AJ make it to the end of the round the way Wilder did when Ortiz was all over him when he was practically out on his feet.

AJ wouldn't have been in that position.

Ortiz doesn't have power of Wlad to drop him.

AJ would destroy Ortiz because he knows you're supposed to slip a southpaw jab to the left. Would of been a re-run of the Charles Martin fight.

I think Ortiz is a better boxer, has greater stamina, and equal power to Joshua. AJ is more effective at range and slightly faster.
The Ortiz of last night would have beaten Joshua. Wilder barely made it through that scare, no way would AJ's chin have endured that.

Yes he would he’s a big stiff that gets tagged, some of y’all act like he’s a master tech Ortiz is better than aj, aj wanted no parts of him when he was with Hearn.

Ortiz was a tough fight for Wilder than AJ will be imo.

Ortiz is far more experienced and had the ability to parry Wilders jab from the southpaw stance and take his right hand away for most part. He didn't allow him to get comfortable with the jab so he wasn't comfortable throwing the right hand as he didn't have his distance.
His positioning and defense is better and he has that counter punching ability with both hands. He's not a bog standard southpaw that just probes and prods to set up the left, he has an educated right hand.

AJ is more robotic and basic, there isn't a great deal to figure out he has no head movement which is a huge no against Wilder a guy who arches that right hand. He can't miss with it and doesn't have to worry about being made to pay like he did vs Ortiz who would look to counter over the top with the left.

He's a sitting duck for that right hand.

AJ is more polished than Wilder but he's made to order I feel. He just hasn't the craft or experience to neutralise that right hand and if you can't take that right hand away you're in the ****.

Like Hell he doesn't. Ortiz is an underrated puncher. He is mostly known as a scientific ring technician but he also is a lethal counter puncher. Aj would have run into the same problems against Ortiz as Wilder did and that was letting his hands go.

Luis would have neutralized AJ's jab by out jabbing and beating him to the punch as he did Deontay. Had Joshua attempted to close the distance, in order to get closer to Ortiz, he would have run into one of Ortiz' lethal counter's just as Wilder did.

In addition, keep in mind that Anthony doesn't punch as hard, or isn't as fast, mobile or agile as the "Bronze Bomber" either. That is why Hearn and AJ avoided this guy.

ah **** it im joining you guys, theres no fighter in history that could have beaten ortiz last night. he was just that good. it doesnt matter that he'd slowed down and looked awful against scott and allen, or that his best career win is bryant jennings, no other fighter could have done what wilder did. hes just that good. lets just be done with it and throw them both in the hall of fame already.

at people saying Joshua is only "slightly" faster than Ortiz.
