Who did he beat? Ruling shyte for a decade doesn't impress me. And then as soon as his opponents became too big to lay on, he got UD'd. Twice and then he retired. Not only that, but he got KTFO! Twice! His big brother had to avenge him! Wladmir Klitschko is an admirable man, but is one of the most the most overrated champs ever. Ortiz would have knocked Wlad out.

Let me think... 25+ title defenses for 10 years, #2 longest champion ever, hall of famer and ATG with one decision loss in 12 years vs Cuban amateur star who’s done comparably little as a pro?

      That’s a tough one.

Ortiz is a good fighter, and props to wilder for taking the fight and winning.

But saying this guy is somehow better than Klitschko... just makes Wilder look dumb.

Ortiz just lost a fighter far less skilled than Wlad. One of the least skilled title holders in HW history.

How easy do posters miss the simple question on here? Would you take the 41 year old Wlad who lost to AJ or the Ortiz from last night who lost to DW?

This has nothing to do with being a champ, being ko'd 3 different times, being unknown or ducked.

Ortiz, stylisticly is a bad matchup for a 41 year old Wlad. Its a tough fight but I think the 41 year old Wlad gets caught with a counter left and hurt bad. Ortiz by stoppage or Wlad by noting decision as he doesn't take the chances Wilder did would be my 2 most realistic outcomes.

What? What was Ortizs best win you fool?

Ortiz has achieved nothing compared to Wlad. Last night was two unproven HW's fighting each other. What we found out is the less skilled won because the more skilled one was too old and gassed.
