They are underpaid, but the fact that boxers, particularly from America, who can't draw flies to s#it and yet are over-payed so much is creating a lot of unrest in the rest of the market. That premium TV money is the perfect case of how crony capitalism has all the effects of socialism for the rich...the promoters and the boxers in their immediate circle just milk that tit dry.

It's hard to feel bad for somebody who got paid 100k for less than 1 hour of work and lost the fight. Just saying, I mean how much more does he think he's worth 500k? If you can fill stadiums or carry an ppv by all means go independent. In Japan those midgets make bank.

That's not my fault, and I don't care. He chose he's career path. Let's see him go to the Zimbabwe or Estonia and see how much they pay their pro athletes. America pays him 100k but an teacher 30k? So we study since pre school and some of us even go into debt to go to college to only get an job for less than 40k a year. I don't feel sorry for the mofo at all. There's ppl in his home country that would kill him for one American dollar. I don't care if he dies in a ring. U know how many ppl die each day driving on the highway? I am not hating on his piggybank or Floyds but there's a lot of ppl living worst, be thankful. That's y ppl love to see rich ppl go broke. I kill for 100k right now taxed or tax free. We living check to check out here hustling. I just watched a video about an chinese boy that walks 3 miles in the snow everyday with no hat and his family only makes 3G a year.

So, what does any of that have to do with what Estrada makes in a boxing match versus what other people make in boxing matches? I respect THE HELL out of you for working your tail off to improve yourself in college. I have lived almost my entire adult life as a single father, raising 2 kids (and a ton of adorable but completely mooching pets) on paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. I am cheering for your success as much as I am a cheerleader to combat poverty worldwide. To me poverty is the enemy. It breeds crime, unrest, health issues and festers hate.

But income inequality is not the problem, and Estrada's boxing career is not taking any money from the family in China. Nor did it require docking any money from your families pay. Stop being so high and mighty that you miss the forest for the trees. Athletes get paid along with every other type of entertainers based on demand. And if demand for boxers are higher than what Estrada and other 112/115 pound fighters are getting paid, let them go get more.
Hope your education investment pays off and you can give your family and yourself the lifestyle you want.
