This. The PBC fighters were getting overpaid and it made everyone else think they should be making as much.

And for those that dont understand that PBC fighters were overpaid, realize that PBC lost millions of dollars of investor money. So as a business venture, PBC was spending more than they made. Al Haymong gave two ****s because it wasnt his money the way he structured it.

That is fair. I am a "you are worth what you can get" kind of guy, so I won't go overpaid. More power to those other boxers for getting those paydays. But there is no doubt that the Super Fly cards are getting HBO way more **** for their buck, and I doubt that weight class is getting better paydays anywhere else. Someone in this thread mentioned Japan pays a pretty penny for this division, but I have no idea if that is true.

From this money, the fighter has to give all his team members their percentage. It is crumbs for a fighter, risking their well-being, and future, for entertainment of society.

Said the same when Choco was demanding more money. These guys are pulling in decent ratings. They deserve good pay.

They draw numbers comparable to fighters in other weight classes. HBO subscribers are obviously enjoying this series. They get paid sometimes 2-3X less.

                How is that 'market forces'?

For some reason Rios got paid more than the entire card at less viewership of Super Flyweight, but yet people still believe that Super Fly's aren't worth.

$545,000 salary total for all fighters on HBO Boxing. The budget could have been at least 800k for the sake of “fair.”

Rung should demand a minimum of 500k for any new “Superfly” theme. Estrada should get $200k for the rematch at the very least.

                    Srisaket Sor Rungvisai $250,000
                    Juan Francisco Estrada $100,000
                    Carlos Cuadras $25,000
                    McWilliams Arroyo $25,000
                    Donie Nietes $40,000
                    Juan Carlos Reveco $30,000
                    Brian Viloria $50,000
                    Artem Dalakian $25,000

They should get paid more but probably won't. At this rate we could be seeing Superfly LXXV.
