It honestly isn't even that good of a fight. Linares is a no one. Easter is more highly regarded than Linares. And Easter isn't any good at all. He's tall, that is it.

If Linares is running scared, good deal. Then we get to see Loma-Linares, and Mikey fighting to become the undisputed junior welterweight champion of the world in a fourth division. Then we would also get Mikey-Easter.
lol are you high? on what planet? not this one. easter's has been complete dog shit.

I was out fishing the other day, and I ran into Peter Quillin. We were there chatting and he told me that he never has to fight again if he does not want to, saying that even though the official purses with him vs Jacobs were 1.5 million dollars each, that Al paid him "Eleventy Million dollars" on the backside. Then Peter rose up and floated away into the clouds just before i threw away my tainted weed.

Who do you want him to fight next? Which fighter has he ducked? Last time I looked he was looking for the most challenging fights he can find.

Easter is not more highly regarded than Linares stop it... you're making **** up! Linares and Mikey are the consensus top 2 lightweights in the world. This is a great fight...but ofc since Loma is probably fighting him you want to diminish the fight already. Pathetic tbh

Much better match-up than the Rigo fight. Don't expect Loma to have much trouble, but still a solid fight.

if this is true this also doesnt change that mikey could fight anyone and still get this money since its not part of the official purse. he chose lipinets which means he is not interested in fighting good fighters or that haymon is bribing him and will only give him that big money if he fights bums.
Garcia hasn’t confirmed what he’ll make to challenge Lipinets. Multiple industry insiders have informed BoxingScene.com that his total compensation package will be roughly $3.5 million,

By Keith Idec - Mikey Garcia was blunt about why he’ll fight Sergey Lipinets next, not Jorge Linares. The unbeaten WBC lightweight champion was offered more money to battle Lipinets for the hard-hitting Kazakh’s IBF junior welterweight title than he would’ve earned for moving back down to lightweight to fac...

No one but Dan Rafael said anything about Spence being promised $3.5 million. Rafael was obviously misinformed, because after the fight, he reported the official purse for Spence was $1.2 million, but failed to mention that this was in spite of being promised triple that.

This site never said that crap about Spence. But they are saying this about Mikey.

Just because TR's media wing makes up stuff about non-TR promoters and fighters doesn't mean other sites do.

Loma should step up to 140 & call out Mikey, the way Rigo stepped up 2weight classes to fight him.

Not saying he is P4P but I'll take Joshua getting off the mat and delivering that beautiful uppercut to Klitschko killing his momentum and ending the fight anyday over what Loma did to the much smaller and outmatched Rigo. If Loma is your guy, then you should want to see him truly tested to prove to the world what you already believe. That's boxing!
He has not been less tested than Joshua or other P4P guy.

You talk about the Klitschko fight but Klit had a long lay off, lost his last fight and was 41 years old.

How is that the definition of a P4P win?

its a good match up but only in theory. Lomachenko will clown Linares. I like watching Linares the dudes tough and fan friendly but Loma is SPECIAL
