But all Linares really has going for him is handspeed, size and experience. Take that away - and Lomachenko is the best at taking that away - and all that's left is an average boxer with a weak chin and paper skin.

Easy fight for Lomachenko but Linares will undoubtedly show more heart than Rigondeaux and at least try to fight.
Well, a least they are the same weight. Rigondeaux is a midget compare to those two. And I know he disgracefully quit. So please save your remarks about GR quitting job.

I know you are sarcastic but lomachenko is a natural lightweight. ggg is not a massive mw and has kept his weight for all his career, props to him...

Linares is not a unified champion. He holds one of the four recognized titles.

As for the Ring belt, the Ring belt stopped having any meaning when his promoter bought it.

Could just be talk. Oscar and Arum both like to publicly act like they want fights and will be easy to negotiate with when that's not really the case. But this time I think it makes a lot of sense, both fighters want a big fight and would be each other's biggest win if they pull it off. I was worrying Arum would push for an easy 135 debut followed by a Beltran fight.

He's the WBC champ too. The WBC ridiculously made a diamond belt for Garcia who himself as been quoted as saying Linares is the real WBC champ.

false. garcia has the wbc world title.

linares was gifted the diamond title as an honorary award.

He won the belt in 2014. He got an injury and they elevated him. He still listed as a WBC champion. He beat Crolla for the WBA in 2016.

Of course we can already start counting the excuses by the Loma haters now. Linares is washed up, has 47 fights and three losses, 32 is old, Linares is ducking Mikey to fight Loma, etc.
