Excellent point!I understand one fight, but not two. Why? Because if Thurman is healthy enough to face Shawn Porter, then he's healthy enough for Errol Spence Jr.! My only concern is whether Thurman would be stripped if he doesn't face Porter or Garcia. If the WBC/WBA will not allow Thurman to face Spence Jr. in a unification, then I'll give Thurman a pass. However, if they don't have a problem with it, then I have a problem with Thurman! That being said, SALUTE to Lamont Peterson, for dropping a belt for a chance to be GREAT!Comment

Yes yes, some nerd on the internet definitely knows what he needs. He should definitely be taking advice from you. Go straight into the toughest fight of his entire life with an untested arm after a major injury, surgery, and very long layoff. You're right. The best thing for his career is definitely to go immediately into the toughest fight possible in the division.Comment

Makes sense, Thurman and Spence both sign their contracts now and each fight tune up fights, mandatory fights against number one contenders and a easy tune up, then fight in 2019, hell put both on the same fight card and have it on PPV. Showtime could put Thurman vs Spence along with Wilder vs Joshua on the same PPV, even if they fight in different locations, Showtime has done this before and this would sell crazy PPV and make crazy money, if you could add Tyson furry and Garcia on this card, might just brake that Floyd record, maybe.

Surely they put a unification of the belts ahead of a mando. Plus why need 2 tune-ups?? I believe Thurman knows that Spence is the True w/w king and wants to hang on to his belts as long as he can before Spence takes them from him.I understand one fight, but not two. Why?
