This is more double-talk. He's throwing out these other names to make it look like he actually is going to take multiple tough fights before Spence. Won't happen. "..after that I'll be ready..." ready for what? Dude can't bring himself to say Spence's name! The real plan is to **** around until Spence gets impatient a big fight comes along at 54 and Spence leaves the division. Spence is a hot prospect now, no way he hangs around for two years waiting for Thurman and Thurman knows it.

Yea and i forgot he got his title from kell brook but he just came from being crushed by triple g and already had an orbital bone injury, did well boxin spence till he was broken down later, still spence needs to work his way up like thurman, like mortal kombat tourney ladder. Two solid top healthy non battle worn, welters, ideally porter and maybe garcia if possible. I think he beats thurman but earn it is what im sayin, like thurman had to.

A broken bone on the right side from GGG has no effect on the left side which was broken by Spence. That was a legit win. I agree that Thurman deserves a tune up to test the elbow, but a fight with Porter could derail any plans to fight Spence next year. I worry about Thurman because he is starting to sound like he's already made it to the top. With Spence there, and Crawford coming, and Porter improving, he needs to be as hungry as they are. Thurman starting to sound like Amir Khan dealing with Brook.
