Thurman is going the right thing. Taking on Spence right now after a layoff is asking to get beat. Just don't drag this prep time on forever..

yeah, ideally we see wilder and joshua fight right away. but you see the difference, right? this is keith thurman, not anthony joshua. haymon is in every one of these guys ears telling them to pretend they're floyd mayweather and in the catbox seat when they are not! and it's keeping us from getting the best fights.
lol. Fanboys are subjective, they leach on to a fighter no matter what the circumstance, right or wrong. Your first paragraph proves my point to that effect. It doesn't matter whether one fighter is a bigger draw, we are talking about the best not fighting the best. Thurman coming off an injury and surgery, plus almost a two year lay off when he finally fights, gets no pass from fanboys. You're telling me that Joshua should get a pass because he's a bigger draw? LOL, my comment stands, and you've proven yourself a fanboy, cong****

I actually didn't tune in to Floyd like that. I am fairly new to the boxing scene. Either way, fans have to realize that the cycle of tune-ups and less relevant fights will continue until we take viewership away from the nonsense. What's the incentive for Danny Garcia to fight Shawn Porter when people will tune in at a similar rate to see him fight Brandon Rios or Samuel Vargas? People are literally pushing for lesser quality than is possible. It just doesn't make sense to me...

the comments in this so when spence and crawford want to delay each other for a big fight its fine, when thurman wants to delay it he gets crucified.
