Im sorry I didn't realise you are Thurmans promoter and know when he will fight Spence maybe you could drop us some inside info?
I don't need to be the promoter... just like I don't need to be a weather man to know which way the wind is blowing...

Lol just an observation of the forums lately.
key difference is that joshua might be the biggest draw in boxing right now, and certainly has the biggest upside. there's a lot more there to protect. joshua has boxed very few rounds for a champion [65] and is still pretty young and green, and thurman isn't even the biggest draw in his division. he's really not even all that popular! he's lucky to be third behind pacquiao and spence in drawing power at his weight. joshua is probably the biggest cash cow in boxing.
yeah, ideally we see wilder and joshua fight right away. but you see the difference, right? this is keith thurman, not anthony joshua. haymon is in every one of these guys ears telling them to pretend they're floyd mayweather and in the catbox seat when they are not! and it's keeping us from getting the best fights.

I am disappointed to read this. This means the Thurman/Spence fight is not going to happen until 2019, which is ridiculous.

fine, so fight a can and tune up. don't demand two fights for huge paydays and hold the best fight in the division hostage. since when does keith thurman make all of the rules and since when are we supposed to be ok with that?
the guy said he'd fight spence when he had a belt and when he was a draw. well now he's a higher ranked WW than thumran on any decent list, will be the favorite coming in to the fight [and i expect thurman to run or get stopped late,] and he's a world champion and looking like a top 10 pound for pounder.
two tuneups and an entire year? i'm sorry, you might be used to 29 year old, inactive fighters making demands like that, but not me. train and fight. this guy has two title belts FFS. shut the f#ck up with these excuses. dude's surgery was in april! it's almost february! sounds like it was arthroscopic surgery to clean up calcium deposits in his elbow, which is not major surgery!
armchair athlete doe.
