A prime elite fighter? I'd say off the top of my head that Corrales, Castillo and Hatton all qualify. Wasn't Corrales ranked higher than him pound for pound when they fought? Yes, he was.

Move the goalpost. Go for it.

Hatton was never elite. He was a B-level fighter that got lucky he caught a past it Tszyu, and never did great things in the 140 division, he got a gift against a C-level Collazo, and got dominated by Floyd, got Flattened by Pacquiao

Corrales, Castillo are B-level fighters also that never did great things, other than giving great fights and showing heart and both were repeatedly knocked out by opponents that weren't categorized as "P4P" in their prime age.

Broner were in the P4P, but we never call him elite.

        Already had the same discussion.

Pointless. It's a yes he is no he's not game.

The problem is we have seen fighters like Castillo come and go, 2 division champion etc. etc. But we never categorize them as "A level."

Corrales was knocked out in his prime once and that was against Mayweather.

He was stopped on cuts against Casamayor in a fight he was coming on strong in. Not knocked out.

To my recollection Castillo was only knocked out in or near his prime by Corrales.

Castillo is probably the best Lightweight of his era.

              Pretty sure that's A Level.

By Knock out I mean, stopped or KO'ed in boxing, nevermind details how the stoppage was, he got stopped in a fight he wasn't supposed to be stopped, and he got beat up by Joshua Clottey ( A dude that none touted as anything good at 29 years old.)

In fights that mattered, he gets beaten, and that is not something an A-level fighter would be in.

You're comparing Broner to Corrales and Castillo?

                  Have a good day.

Being repeatedly knocked out by opponents pre-Mayweather in his 20's isn't really telling 4 times actually , and then getting stopped by B-C-level opponents while not doing anything great is not telling.

Just because you are the best Lightweight at some point doesn't mean you are A-level when clearly you didn't have the achievements to back it up.

Have a good day is all you can respond because clearly you are not getting my analogy. Just because one is in the P4P doesn't immediately mean they are elite.

I am comparing Broner's P4P status to Chico's status i nthe P4P rankings, null and void, obviously Castillo/Corrales are far greater than Broner, but you were quick to try and poke holes in the argument that you went completely past it.
