You'd love to have seen him live. Don't lie.

      You sound desperate

      Johnson
      Ruiz
      Tarver I
      Griffin
      Harding
      Tate

who the **** had any of these people defeated?
toney had beaten prime mike nunn and prime mike mcallum. is that not good? do you even know who these people are? you trying to compare that to floyds crappy resume of old fighters?

hopkins hadnt beaten anyone but he didnt lose for like 15 years after roy beat him and became great. thats much better than a fighter who used to be great but was no longer great when floyd fought them.

those fighters all had good wins. for example tarver beat the #2, 3, and 4 contenders in the division before fighting roy who was #1. then he beat roy in the rematch. you are saying he didnt figth anyone???? really? tarver was roy's margarito/pac/cotto prime opponent but roy didnt shy away from it like floyd.

you are just bringing up names...it doesnt matter how good prime oscar was or how good prime mccallum was. floyd didnt fight prime oscar and roy didnt fight prime mccallum. hell floyd could have fought an old past it sugar ray leonard and you would have gone nuts cause he has that name on his resume cept its just a name. do people call terry norris the greatest of all time because he actually beat sugar ray leonard? do you not understand the meaning of prime?

He actually doesn't know Mike McCallum or any of those guys. He didn't even know Toney has wins over Nunn and McCallum LOL

I'd like to think he asked me who is he for the purpose of improving his limited knowledge but it's all because he needs to defend Floyd. Pathetic.

Didn't say he was. He still still excellent at that point and hasn't lost in about 7-8 years and that loss had been avenged. He still had enough to go and move up two divisions years later and win a title at 175 too.

he was coming off the best run of his career. you are just using age to measure prime i see. he didn't start getting noticed till about 30 years old so we cant fantasy pretend what would have happened if he was 5 years younger. he was in the prime of his career. maybe not the physical prime of his life but thats debatable and for fantasy. for example oscar was younger than mccallum was when floyd fought him so oscar was closer to his career prime? no, cause he had one legit win in 4 years and that was over mayorga and and he never won another meaningful fight.
