Showtime has the Option again to bid on the Joshua/Parker fight next year just like they had to do it with the Joshua/Takam fight It's Not a gurantee they will get it Hbo can still out bid themNo. They only had an option on his last fight, but by picking up that option, they gained the rights to the fight after that as well. One of the reasons why Hearn wants to wait on the Wilder fight is because he knows HBO will make a massive offer to try to block it and if he does the fight next, he loses that leverage.
You really don't know how contracts work do you?Comment

This guy thinks he knows how Boxing contracts work he's just a Showtime fan boy lol
just sit back and enjoy the fights on both Networks we don't make any $ from this let the boxers/promoters fight it outComment

Yes you're correct Showtime has an option to bid on the Joshua/Parker fight ans soo does HBOAre you sure? Im pretty sure they only have a the same option like they did the last time.
With giving the first and last offer.
Pretty sure HBO is free to bid on the fight if they wish.
And I dont think HBO will "block" the fight.
Plenty of Haymon figthers have fought on HBO.
Daniel Jacobs and Chavez Jr. having fought on HBO PPV in 2017.
Felix Diaz aswell.Comment

Your post are crazy with misinformation lol btw Daniel Jacobs is signed and only fights on HBOIt's a little different this time. But next time it's a free for all.
Thank you for your opinion. If you think HBO will just sit idly by while Showtime attempts to crown an undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, you have no idea what you're talking about . . .
#1, that is not plenty. #2, each instance was an extenuating circumstance.
Diaz is signed exclusively to Dibella and Dibella takes his B-side exclusive fighters to HBO to be opponents when needed.
Jacobs-GGG was a mandatory fight. Jacobs would have been stripped for refusing and Haymon had no other control over that division whatsoever. It was a calculated risk to try to steal control of another division away from HBO. A risk that almost paid off, that caused minimal damage to Haymon as he was already boxed out of middleweight to begin with.
Chavez was a cash out fight where Haymon risked nothing. Chavez had no belt, no prospects for a belt, had already lost to Fonfara, and Golden Boy had to pay a fortune to get him.
If you're suggesting any of this means that Haymon will send Wilder over to HBO to be a B-side, you're out of your mind.Comment

Mr Know it all............all these post are your Opinion also you don;t work for no networks you don't see the contracts and you're soo biased against HBO is soo pathetic it's unreal stop troling boxingBecause if they don't, it'll take place without them.
Doesn't matter what they want. Fight isn't happening without SHO.
Stop being so myopic. Haymon fighters only fight on HBO when there is everything to gain and nothing to lose. That does not apply to Wilder.
If Hearn is able to leverage AJ for a ton of HBO dates for Matchroom USA, AJ-Wilder is dead for 2018. You're living in a fantasy land. Just as HBO will do everything to stop AJ-Wilder from taking place on SHO, SHO will do everything to stop AJ-Wilder from taking place on HBO.
Okay, well you're wrong. So what does it matter what you think if your thoughts aren't based on any insight, experience, knowledge or facts? It's very clear SHO is spending more money on boxing than HBO.
Top Rank leaving just facilitates HBO's demise.
HBO is supposed to stand for excellence. The best of the best. Once they become the clear #3 in boxing, boxing becomes a liability to the brand. Boxing's future on HBO is bleak at best.
You could be right, but if that happens, say goodbye to AJ-Wilder in 2018.Comment

It's not HBO 's fault that Showtime has ess subscribers...sheesh with all the big names in boxing fighting on the SHO network they should beat Hbo in ratings but sadly the don't HBO's weakest card beats Showtime's biggest cards everytime FACTSHBO fights have more viewers because HBO has way more subscribers. HBO also sabotages their own fights on non-linear platforms to force viewers to watch on TV. Showtime offers many viewing options that artificially lower the publicly released number. But the true numbers that you aren't privy to are the real reason Showtime is so bullish about boxing. HBO's numbers are a mirage.
HBO keeps cutting their boxing budget while Showtime keeps increasing their boxing budget. Tells you all you need to know.Comment
