Pretty much. He needs a significant win but I don't see it. Right now I would even favor Berto over Broner, so his options are very limited.

how many 'last stands' can one guy have? Thought garcia was meant to be his last one? All the talk pre fight was that he had the eye of the tiger for that one, a new adrien broner etc.

        Is he still a contender?

He's like one loss away from Zab Judah status

So whether they are "to you" or not is completely irrelevant.
"To me"? I don't consider myself so important, you see. I don't even care if a fight is for some title, provided that that fight is a good one.

Still, if we have to talk boxing on the basis of sheer "popularity" without taking into account other "secondary" issues - such as being a genuinely great fighter rather than a ****** guy who wastes the talent he has - then OK, I raise my hands. Even a second (third?) rater like Broner will indeed be missed. For a year or two at least, before getting completely forgotten.

Broner starched by a Kostya Tszyu of today is exactly what we would need to remove him from boxing once and for all.

Unfortunately, I see Broner becoming a stepping stone for rising prospects, a recognizable name to add to some young guy's resume.

He'll go down in the books as a cautionary tale. There's nothing as sad as wasted talent.
