Does anyone know the status of Prograis vs. Postol? If Prograis wins, I can see him fighting the winner of Broner vs. Figueroa next!

I view Broner similarly to the way I viewed Zab Judah....,although Zab may have been better. Both guys were good fighters but when they stepped up in competition they got humiliated. Neither guys seemed to have the grit of a true A class champion. I don't have much faith in a leopard changing it's spots. Broner will always remain Broner....We've seen him,...We know him...., He's showed us who he is.
Broner also reminds me of Zab Judah, because he continuously is given opportunities to redeem himself and yet keeps failing. Jeez, how many ****ing chances can they give these guys? There's other more willing, dedicated fighters that deserve the opportunities that Zab and Broner were/ are given.Last edited by Damn Wicked; 12-23-2017, 12:02 PM.

He was never an elite guy to begin with. He killed himself as long as he could at lower weights to have the advantage. Once he moved up he got sparked out by Maidana and exposed by Porter and Garcia. He's the black Victor Ortiz.

It's called life arranging things where they truly belong. Broner has always been overrated and well marketed. Americans love the ****** arrogant, trash talking hood rat and can care less for the talented, educated boxers. Sorry to say it but it's an honest reflection of mainly African American culture. Don't give me crap and pull the race card on this. Anyway broner will get destroyed again a la maidana. He will get flashbacks and possibly quit. He cannot handle pressure fighters and Figueroa is 2X maidana in that department. Can't wait to see this sewer rat crawl back to the ****** he crawled out of.

He post some of the highest #s on whatever platform he fights on and regardless of who so as long as that's still the case he will keep getting chances
Of course his star will dim with continuous losses but all it takes is 1 win to turn everything around
Broner just doesn't have the focus and he's been a different fighter since the Maidana fight but Can still talk his sh.it and get people interested in his fights.
If he can stay disciplined I think he can still make some noise at 140 because it's pretty wide open since Bud left. But who knows if he can do it

Imo the biggest issue with boxing or pro sports period. Is a lot of athletes are put in the spotlight too soon. Almost like coming in as the boss without putting in the years of grunt work. Not building to that spotlight. Thats why when guys like Broner, Ortiz to name a couple. Took their first loss, especially by domination. Their careers was pretty much over without going anywhere.

since nobody wants to give credit to loma for beating rigo because he jumped 2 divisions why do we give maidana credit for beating broner? that win is what secured the two retirement checks for chino vs floyd. it exploded his hype and exposure. but everybody is so sympathetic to rigo.. why is that. broner could've easily quit in that fight with that broken jaw yet all people did was clown him and make memes. stylistically i wanted floyd vs khan but maidana beating on little broner is what made him a star at 147.Last edited by future hendrixx; 12-23-2017, 01:26 PM.
