broner tries to emulate floyds style instead of being himself, he needs to fight more aggressive.

How can people call a guy that's won titles in 4 weight divisions a bum?! If you don't like a dude fair enough and he's fallen from grace hard but you can't talk s*** like that behind a keyboard. This dude had like 300 wins as an amateur and is a multiple time world champion. He also has heart and will. I hope he bounces back because he's fun to watch.

who did he beat though? hes not a bum but hes another manufactured fighter where hollow platitudes such as 4 weight champ, undefeated, etc...are seen as more important than beating good fighters.

its not really fair to broner. i would have done the same as him(prob with less co-ckiness) and took those easy fights for big money. doesnt mean hes a great boxer though. boxing is just a poorly run sport. they try to start with a boxer and mold him into a great instead of finding greats and promoting them.

The comparisons to Judah are unfair, Judah fought a few good rounds against some of the better fighters of his day and had a lot of things he could do for five rounds or so. Judah also at one time had freakish speed and power that could carry the day. Broner was always too dependent on the weight limit...His power did not carry up and he was unable to make any adjustments to the contrary.

Some inbreeds continue to act like winning world titles means something instead of whom one fought in the first place. Judah was a problem to Floyd for five rounds, and Broner beat Paulie for a title (didn't he?)

Broner mistook boxing for his bowling game: I guess in bowling things don't change, so you can always do the same thing lol. Well in boxing the pins line up in different places!

And no... its not that Broner is not dedicated, or not trained properly... He just is not intelligent enough to make adjustments in the ring and find a way to win when he cannot use his power, there is that so hard to accept?

Well, Madianna was having none of that, and neither was Porter, both guys they would have loved to give Broner another pass with in the hopes he would be the heel that made them that ton of money.

Great post this place shuts me down as far as giving green K. Few people even remember that about maidana, how he was dominated by Alexander, not exactly mr consistency himself lol. It is like the great Tulip bubble in Holland... Just keep throwing money at it and the problem will go away.

Broner has reached his maximum potential as a gatekeeper/contender. He can stay at this level for a few years if he wants. He will never be the best, though.
