    I gave Johnson rounds 1, 3 and 4 of the first 5.

Even the rounds Collins won, every round Johnson was landing the cleaner punches and making Collins miss wildly, however Collins did make it rough and win some rounds but he lost the fight. Johnson the much better skilled boxer.
About the way I see and seen it.Johnson was deff more skilled but like I believe u or another poster said he took rounds off at times.A strong case can be made for him beating Toney in his 1st defence at 160.Dropped him even.Seen hi fight lve up here in MN at Mystic Lake ran into Antwon Echols that night.Preety cool guy. This was after his title days for Jonhson.

      I had him beating Toney.

Made him look like a total amateur, totally outboxed him and dominated the first 5 rounds + KD.

Let Toney back into the fight down the stretch by cruising too much once again but even then he made Toney miss and look clumsy for the entire fight. Should have got the decision.

Nunn and Johnson looked better against Toney than Jones did when you consider what a near dead body Toney was against Jones

What was the difference in Toney's body/weight in those fights and the Roy Jones fight?

Cant agrue with that.I remember the fight clear but not sure who I had winning.Just remember like you said Johnson starting out real well and getting KD and Toney coming on late.Seen it as a real close fight that could have easy gone Johnsons way.

It was still same-day weigh-ins in 1991 so he would've been around 160 in the ring against Nunn and Johnson, he was so active back then he never got out of shape, never took time off. Against Jones he was like 190 in the ring, six weeks before he was 250ish going into camp! NOT the same fighter. The first time he took time off training was after the McCallum fight - it showed in his next fight (Tiberi). His last great performance was Barkley when he trained through Xmas/NY this time, though he showed some greatness against Littles and Prince Charles by coming back and taking them

If Toney didn't love Burger King so much he might've taken Jones out, man, he probably would've

Same day weighs in in 1991? I don't think so.

160 in the ring? That's funny.

There is literally no difference between the Toney who fought Jones and the Toney who fought them. Cut massive amounts of weight to make it.

Funny how you say that Toney was in shape at 160 then have a convenient excuse for getting beaten up and gifted a decision over Dave Tiberi. Why is it every single time he looked like dog**** there's am excuse? "Toney was active and always in shape at 160" oh er except when Tiberi beat him.

How about Sosa almost beating him at 160? Out of shape I am going to guess?

Absolutely hilarious and total fantasy land.

I find it mind boggling that this literal insane opinion is still floating around out there.

Roy Jones made James Toney look like he'd have never boxed a day in his life. Roy Jones could fight James Toney with one hand tied behind his back 100 times and every single time he would dominate him.

Two total different calibur of fighters.
