What was Roy Jones, Jr.'s Best Win?

I have to think that his domination of James Toney was his best, but I don't know.

    Any thoughts?

Winning the Heavyweight title is a great win. The actual opponent not so much.

Yeah, I dont think people give him full credit for this. Toney was on a very good roll, and was considered number 2 P4P behind Pernell at worst. Now on retrospect all we hear is Toney was weight drained, but if your gonna say that then you've got to admit he was for he's whole 160 168 run. Another good win was Hill, both the fighter he beat and the manner he did it in.

No james was on 3 week notice he was on vacation when he got the call for roy. Roy’s best win is when he toyed with John Ruiz and won a hw title.

Well this is a totally made up, comical fantasy.

This is a new one even for James Toney's fantasy standards.

Genuinely laughed. Do you really think this is true or is it a joke?

It must be true, otherwise the all-time great and potential heavyweight ruler James Toney would have destroyed RJJ as he did with Vassiliy Jirov later on (wink, wink).

Toney was for sure his best win, Toney was a monster at that time. James Toney is my favorite fighter, but I don't take anything away from Roy for Toney being drained, part of being a professional is making weight properly.

Toney absolutely would have been a force at HW. His hands were still fast, and his punches sharp, he had an insane gas tank, possibly the best chin of all time, and he had some pop. Not much power at HW, but he had pop, and he was a sharp puncher. He would have stood flat footed, fat as hell, right in front of almost every HW at the time and boxed their ears off.

Toney was a great win but my favorite was the Griffin rematch.
