All the stuff that Hunter was saying prior to the 2nd Ward fight regarding the turmoil in their camp was definitely true. All of the Kovalev die hard fans did not believe any of this. I hope he gets back to winning because he is a good strong fighter. He just needs to humble himself a bit. Virgil Hunter is a good trainer as is Jackson.

In the kovalev vs ward rematch Jackson gave this info to ward and instructed Kovalev to fight ward up close. He knew Kovalev weakness on the inside and sold him out. If Kovalev had kept the distanse and not looked for the knockout he could have outboxed ward for a ud, I have no doubt about it.

Once your opponent hit you low then you hit him back low; unless of course, you are looking for a way out due to poor conditioning and stamina as was in the case of Kov's fight with Andre Ward. The man was both tired and fatigued and once he found out that he couldn't no longer hurt SOG, he just simply packed it in and went home.

I can't believe JDJ revealed what everybody saw first hand in Ward Kovalev 2. I guess he is a rat for stating the obvious. And no way did Ward and Hill figure out that Kovalev didn't like to fight inside or take body shots in the 1st fight. Not like they changed the tide in the fight with that approach.

Lol, Kovalev outboxed ward in the first fight, majority of the boxing world agrees.
It's no secret that kovalev has stamina issues, in the first fight Kovalev was outboxing ward before he started to gas and made the fight close.

Ward may be a better allround boxer or inside boxer if you take into account dirty boxing, clinching but as a pure boxer kovalev is better.
