    NEW YORK John David Jackson offered some gratuitous advice to Vyacheslav Shabranskyy. Sergey Kovalev's former trainer says if Shabranskyy can get to Kovalev's body in their fight November 25, he'll have "a hell of a shot" to pull off an upset. Russia's Kovalev is a 20-1 favorite over Ukraine's Shabranskyy as their HBO "World Championship Boxing" main event nears, but Jackson considers his former fighter's inability to handle body shots a vulnerability that could hurt his career moving forward.

      Pretty sour and pathetic on Jackson's part. The falling out must have been pretty brutal between them. The rumors of Ward's camp getting info from Jackson himself does not seem so far fetched now.

              no matter wat you say kov was hit in the nuts

              2ndly i think kov is double ***t.
              1. jackson says kov can only land shots at range...if he's right then kov is in trouble bc most guys that can punch at that can punch and move at that division are much longer and most are taller

              2. he did slow with ward's body work in the first fight...

              two bad things imo..

                          In the kovalev vs ward rematch Jackson gave this info to ward and instructed Kovalev to fight ward up close. He knew Kovalev weakness on the inside and sold him out. If Kovalev had kept the distanse and not looked for the knockout he could have outboxed ward for a ud, I have no doubt about it.

                              damn what a bitter unethical piece of ****. Be surprised if he gets another job as a trainer, first fallout or disagreement you have he gonna leak out all your flaws etc to the media. Take him off your payroll at YOUR OWN RISK lol.
