None of Golden Boy's prospects, outside of maybe JoJo Diaz Jr, are ready to headline ShoBox, nevermind talk of an even bigger stage.

Beyond that, in what world is ESPN "the worst enemy right now"? Loma-Rigo is definitely a quality fight, but no one is clamoring for Horn-Corcaran or Crawford vs a no-hoper, or realistically any fight that Top Rank can deliver in house at this point (sans maybe Pacquiao-Crawford). You add that the resources conversation isn't even close, and this is a fail on your red herring attempt.

Showtime was supposed to have Saul Alvarez; the PBC move was made, the structure was penciled in, but you would've still had the effort feeding all of the big matchups into the terrestrial channels and Showtime/CBS, with Alvarez helping feed into that with his PPV fights on top.

HBO ****ed that up and to think that Showtime/CBS wouldn't remember that makes you look dumb.

Bob Arum took Pacquiao-Crawford over to Showtime's on a deal, reneged on it after one fight, and you've still never seen a single Top Rank card on Showtime since (you may mess around and count Russell-Loma, but even then you see no mention of Top Rank).

You can't be this dense, right? Odd way to troll

And if you don't think Top Rank at least copromoted that fight and had signs somewhere it just goes to show that you don't know what ur talkin about. Now really I'm done with this.If you wanna be happy about getting lesser fights that's why thats all we will be getting.

Showtime wouldn't have bought Garcia vs Linares with Golden Boy running the show, and there's really nothing crazy about it. There's a reason why there were not even rumors of talks between Oscar and Espinoza, and also why the money was already on the table for Mikey's fight anyway.

Showtime doesn't do business with Oscar De La Hoya, and that's unlikely to change.

Mikey Garcia gets passed Easter Jr (hopefully in a good fight) and Mikey Garcia will be given another Showtime date with a budget to go with it. Mikey will have his camp work together (Mikey seems to like Richard Schaefer, so Schaefer will likely run the promotional effort), and a call will be made to Golden Boy, to see what it'd cost to have Linares come and fight on Mikey's date.

If Golden Boy balks at the offer, the fight goes to purse bids (knowing what they have to spend, and having a gauge to what Golden Boy has to spend, will let Schaefer bid smartly) or Linares walks away from the WBC belt, left to defend the WBA belt again in London against Crolla or Luke Campbell.

Why you want to insist that Showtime is now fine with Oscar is beyond me

Money talks, and with the looks of things from the outside in, it seems as if Top Rank signed a 360-deal with ESPN (with ESPN basically being the only broadcaster for Top Rank and having access to their library) for a longterm deal that basically pays out a bit more than what you'd get for Boxing After Dark, so that Arum can develop his young fighters.

Manny Pacquiao is basically left with only the Horn fight in Australia because there is nowhere else for the money to be put together from. Maybe ESPN can put Pacquiao-Crawford on PPV, but even that would be a leap.

Hang your hat however you want to hang it, no one's beating down Top Rank's door yet and Jesse Vargas already jumped ship.

Pacquiao-Crawford vs Mosley happened in 2011, and there hasn't been a Top Rank show on Showtime since.

Where's the troll in any of that?

If you think this fued is gonna last(unlike every other one in history)it just shows how long you have been around. And if you think show would not have bought this your crazy and even if they did not Micky has no exclusive deal with show so he could have also gone to HBO for this fight. But again I'm sick of writing this stuff over and over. And as far as rumors of Oscar not talking to STEVE ES THATS NOT THE WAY IT WORKS.They see if fighters really want to fight and then like he said it would then go to TV and see who has bigger offer because neither is signed to anyone.

The fight is on YouTube, so you can see for yourself. Then again, you won't. Lol
