Easter is a bigger draw. He puts 10k butts in the seats when he fights in his hometown while Linares has to travel overseas to fight in the other fightes hometown, as the champion. Remember when he fought Comey in Reading, PA? Half the crowd was there for him and as soon as he fought they left. You can think Linares is a better fighter and that's a matter of opinion. Easter Jr is a bigger draw and that's a fact.

Are you kidding me that fight was in nhis home town.Linares has a following in so call and also known overseas.And Easter is not even CLOSE to name Linares has.Easter has NEVER even fought on pre cable.Bounce that's it not even Fox 2 you don't know buis if you think I guy who has fought 4-5 time or more on HBO,SHOW vs a guy who only fought on Bounce.Now why not be a real man an admit you are wrong.AND THIS IS BIGGEST POINT WHEN DID ALL YOU "FANS" BECOME PROMOTERS.What real fan even gives a s hite about who is bigger???????????? I have no complaints what so ever about Mikey turning the fight down for a larger money offer. Mikey said he was open to fighting Linares in his next fight after this one. I think he will KO Linares if and when they do fight down the road. All fighters only have limited years to make money before they are too old to compete. It's what they do for a living and they owe it to themselves to make the most money possible during those years. I think he might be fighting Easter who is also a champion and probably a more dangerous opponent that Linares.
