I honestly dont see any Wilder fans talking about financial splits, i just hear Joshua fans using it as an excuse to not fight Wilder

Doesnt he have to face Wilder to be "DOMINATING" Heavyweight boxing?

I never said a significant amount of people said Wilder wants 50%, most are reluctant to state what split he deserves.

Almost everyone claiming AJ is ducking has at one point in the past had a different stance on the subject. Go look at the Ward vs Kovalev rematch threads when Ward wouldn't commit to the rematch right away, those same guys had a lot more patience back then. It's the same for the other side too, they have a lot more patience now that it's the fighter they like or support that is supposedly ducking.

It's the most obvious case of flip flopping I've ever seen.
as a fan why should we care??? let the financial people on both teams discuss that, as fans we should just demand the fight

I had no problem with Ward taking a year to get used to 175 after his layoff so I don't get your point, only the Kovalev/Golovkin fanbase did. Where was your outrage when Ward took his time in signing the rematch though?

Why are you even trying to sound upstanding?

Even if it wasn't clear for all to see, everything you support is pro-African American and you've admitted as much so don't embarrass yourself. If the roles were flipped I have no doubt you'd be asking us:

          "Who has Wilder fought?"

"He can't demand anything with that resume" etc

Because Wilder is getting a career high payday no matter the split but depending on what he asks for then Joshua stands to possibly lose money. If Joshua is making less or the same as he usually does then it's an issue.

Do you get it now?? Or does AJ have to be American before you understand why negotiations are a key aspect and possible hurdle??

Of course you don't want to talk about them Larry because you know Wilder is going to price himself out by asking for something ridiculous and you can carry on claiming Joshua is ducking.

Most likely and then he'll say Joshua doesn't want to fight the best because of that, the same way Golovkin didn't want to fight the best by not taking the flat fee.

He actually thought he was worth 50% at that time. Jones insisted on 60/40 and Hopkins refused. I see Wilder pulling the same stunt. Price himself out and then say it was AJ who didn't want the fight.
Amazingly people buy it. "Calling out" but not realistically wanting the fight happens so much these days. Rigo did it for a while, Stevenson is another.

I remember Roy Jones in 2003 "I want Lennox Lewis for $100m" and that went nowhere so plenty of his fans went with it "OMG Lewis is ducking RJJ".

It's easy to call out when you don't intend to follow through but it's a way of looking feared and like you wanted the fight. I'm a Mikey Garcia fan but unfortunately I sort of get that vibe off of him lately however he has fought good opposition.

Wilder doesn't have the wins to fall back on to look legit. If the fight doesn't happen because he prices himself out your looking back on a nearly decade long career that doesn't even include one B level (or even a C level fighter) so he won't have a leg to stand on when he's claiming to be most ducked.

I think he deserves more than Charles Martin got. I don't really care about the split as I'm not a promoter and neither fighter is breaking bread with me. I just want to see the fight happen.

You know how this site is with fan boys man, don't know why you're surprised
