Yes it was close fight(I had Spinks by 1)but id say about 60-65 percent of "experts" had Holmes winning.

Holmes was more agressive and sharper in the second fight. He was leaner also.

Yes he came out a lot more aggressive in 2nd fight(I think he even though Spinks down in 1st)But he let Spinks back into it in mid to late rounds(except 14th where really bucked Spinks legs)But I thought MS came back in 15th and just shaded the fight.I am aware about 60-65% of experts thought Holmes won 2nd though.

I can see a unbiased decision going Spinks way. It was fascinating how a LH handled a bigger highly skilled HW champion. Spinks was so unorthodox. I remember seeing him fight for the first time and thinking
" What the hell is he doing??"
Spinks is the poster child of underrated fighters. He was amazing. He didn't brag or boast just a really good guy.

Perhaps among very green, or fair weather fans, what is called casuals... But among real fight fans nobody questions how good the Jinx was. Some people think he was the best light heavy ever... Your just hanging with the wrong crowd! I think Tunney was better, but would put Spinxs as one of about 3 "second best" light heavies. lol.
