At 160lbs Golovkin would hunt Floyd down and KO him. I can't see any other possible outcome.

GGG comes down from 175-180 man..Floyd never even made 154 he was 149 after a 2 year retirement

I get that ggg is the bigger man...but the divisions they fight in aren't as far apart as mw and cw/hw.

GGG won’t even go up 1 weight class but calls out a guy who started his career at 126. There’s been lots of threads about this fight. Plenty of people think Mayweather would win probably the majority despite the big gaps in age/height and weight. Even if we’re talking a 38 year old Floyd most people would pick him to win. GGG’s one dimensional and will lose the Canelo rematch (who lost nearly every round against Floyd) clearly. Just wait.
None of this has anything to do with the topic. It wasn't could ggg beat usyk, or if a 38yr old Floyd beats a current ggg. I don't know why your bringing all this up. I agree that it's a ****** premise to begin with...almost as ****** as saying Floyd would school him. The man is finished...he won't be in the ring with any top fighters again...some people just can't seem to let go. He had a great career but it's over.

Who even said mayweather needs to fight ggg? The op asked if there was anyone really dumb enough to think that Floyd could currently beat ggg.

No doubt...why do you suppose he needed that iv to rehydrate after such a strenuous weight cut?

Younger Floyd would beat MarGGGarito for sure. Danny Jacobs - a chinny MW who is very mediocre - and Ca$hnelo (who Floyd schooled) have shown MarGGGarito's power is, as usual, mostly just talk. And his so called "massive amateur pedigree" was almost nonexistent against Jacobs and Ca$h where he sc****d by Danny and arguably drew and, realistically, LOST to Ca$h but was given a gift draw for Las Vegas revenue.

Floyd today would definitely lose to MarGGGarito and many other fighters. He's just slower in every aspect. Floyd in his late 20's or early 30's would breeze by this guy though

Uh...ok. What's that got to do with the iv?

Nothing to feel good about with that "fight". It was ok cuz I won $ betting pact@rds from work I guess...but all in all it was a horrible event and a garbage fight.
