Do people seriously believe Floyd Mayweather Jr could beat Gennady Golovkin at 160?

I really don't care if you find it boring. I'm stating facts and will continue to do so. Sometimes facts can be boring to some.

Merely claiming I've made no points doe doesn't mean I haven't. You might as well claim that 1+1 = 10. Unless you substantiate your claim, it remains meaningless. In this case, you need to substantiate how I didn't make any point.

"No, GGG didn't look bigger than Canelo Alvarez during their bout. GGG was shorter and stockier. Golovkin was taller and leaner. They looked roughly the same size to me overall".

This is the type of confusing reasoning that Gangstaz is responding with.

You don't even know what a fact is. And you will quickly be tuned out with the long uninformative posts.

How the hell is that meant to be 'confusing'? If someone is shorter but stockier than a taller person with wider shoulders, those characteristics can make up for their lack of height and enable them to be just as heavy as the taller person.

Mike Tyson and Tony Tucker were the same weight on fight night when they fought each other. Why? Because the shorter guy (Mike Tyson) was stockier with a wider frame and more muscle mass than the taller guy (Tony Tucker).

The same thing applies between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.

Yes, I do know what a 'fact' is. Most of what I wrote were 'facts'. Some were my opinion. Feel free to point out the things that weren't 'facts'.

Nobidy thinks Floyd could beat d ggg at 16o.
You u derstand that when they arent furious at Floyd for not having fought him.
If the Floyd fans thought GGG was easy work they'd want Floyd to fight and beat him. They'd be furious at Floyd for not fighting someone they knew he'd beat that noboidy else thought he would.
But the fact they really don't think he'd win they are glad Floyd didn't do it

If you knew what you were talking about regarding dehydration we could have a conversation but I know you don't know anything other than the word nor anything about degrees of dehydration and my days of going around a Ferris wheel are over.

Go and research the amount of dehydration taking 750 ml in a 150lb athlete, I,ll give you a hint Ive put 2000 ml into a 63lb Greyhound because he traveled badly and vomited the day before he was raced he was dehydrated but not at all severe just enough to upset a high performance animal about to perform.

You guys suffer from having a little information and then running away with the fairies.
thanks for confirming he didn't need an iv. how many times have you cut weight...I have many times. cool story about your dog tho.

It is you that is attributing feats to Mayweather that he hasn't shown. He has never beat any opponent as heavy as Gennady Golovkin on fight night without rehydration clauses and catch weights.

Styles make fights! True! However, size and weight also makes fights and weight is a more important factor in deciding outcomes of bouts than styles. Hence, there exists weight divisions and not styles division. Styles matter most when two boxers are roughly the same weight.

Golovkin doesn't need to do any of those things you've mentioned. He simply needs to impose his physical size by forcing Mayweather into the back foot. He needs to out muscle Mayweather when both are close. He needs to throw punches on Mayweather after outmuscling Mayweather into positions that would make him vulnerable.
Saul Alvarez was likely 170lbs+ when he stepped in to fight Floyd, with Cotto and Maidana likely in the 160s for their fights with Floyd, so what the **** are you talking about?

Golovkin has never outmuscled a person in a fight ever, so to think that, 11 years into his run, that that is going to magically change makes you look foolish.

Kell Brook came up two full weight classes for the fight, and not once did Golovkin try to impose size on anything.
