Usyk is world apart from May. May studies his opponents to figure them out and out box them, but would not try to be a slow starter, he starts the pace from the start and ends the pace with the pace he started from the beginning, Usyk on the other hand is a slow starter and only goes on to quicken the pace as the fight goes on.

Do you know why? Since Usyk is an attacking fighter, an attacking fighter can set the pace immediately, but he didn't and allowed fighters to take some rounds off him, Floyd doesn't do that, therefore Floyd is better.

This is what I'm talking about when I say Loma and Usyk are being held to higher standards.
Loma and Usyk are two of the busiest (active) boxers out there. When I mean busy I'm not just talking about punch output, but just in general. They are constantly moving, setting things up, etc. These two are workhorses in the ring.
So when Loma or Usyk, especially Usyk, have slow rounds in the beginning, just studying their opponents and not be nearly as active as the later rounds, people automatically give the rounds to their opponents.

Other boxers can study their opponent and not do much and get a ton of praise for it.
Go look at most Ward fights early and most of the time he is studying his opponent barely does anything and gets praise and the round for it.
Usyk does the same, he actually does more, but since he isn't as active as he is in the later rounds people give the round to the opponent.
